You built something that matters. Let's talk about what comes next.
We're Steve and Chad — two WNY operators looking to buy and run a small service business for the long haul. No brokers, no flippers, no private equity. Just a direct conversation with the people who built what we want to carry forward.
We're not brokers.
We're buyers. We want to own and operate a strong small business — and we want to hold it for the long term.
We'd rather talk directly with the person who built the business. Nobody knows the real story — the team, the customers, the quirks, the opportunity — better than you do.
We care about the same things you do.
What you built gets carried forward.
We're not here to gut a business and sell the parts. We want to keep what works, protect what you built, and make it better over time.
Your people stay.
The people who show up every day are what make a service business run. We plan to keep them, respect them, and invest in them.
Your reputation stays intact.
A business's name in the community took years to build. We take that seriously from day one — it's one of the most valuable things we're buying.
We improve things thoughtfully.
Better systems, smarter technology, sharper follow-up with customers — we know where service businesses can get better because we've done it before. And we don't break what's already working.
Operators first. Always.
I'm Steve Kiernan. I built Pointman, a field-service software platform that served nearly 1,500 HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors before it was acquired by ServiceTitan. I also co-own The Forge, a gym I bought, relocated, and rebranded in Clarence. I know what it means to buy a business and actually run it.
My partner Chad Zingler has spent his career building revenue and partnerships for growing companies — most recently as VP of Strategic Partnerships at RevSpring. He also founded Fluttering Wings Foundation, a nonprofit here in the Buffalo-Niagara community.
More about usGood businesses with strong bones.
We're looking for established service businesses in WNY where the owner is ready to step back and the business has real value. We're not interested in turnarounds. We want something that's already working — and where we can help carry it forward.

Better customer follow-up
We improve how businesses communicate with customers and prospects so fewer opportunities fall through the cracks. This is usually one of the biggest quick wins.
Technology that actually helps
We've spent years implementing field service software, CRMs, and ops tools. We know what works for service businesses and what's just noise.
Sharper offers and pricing
We look at how services are packaged and priced and find ways to improve revenue without compromising quality or the trust your customers have in you.
Your team, supported
We work with the existing team — not around them. The people who know the business best are an asset, not an expense.
Simple. No pressure.
We have a conversation.
You reach out. We talk — privately, no pressure. Nothing gets listed or shared. It's just a conversation between people.
We learn about each other.
We take the time to understand your business, your team, your customers, and what matters to you. And we share how we think about things, too.
We figure out a path forward.
If there's a fit, we work together on a structure that makes sense for you, your team, and the business. We're flexible — including seller alignment where that's helpful.
We're not exploring the idea. We're doing it.
We have capital relationships and SBA lending in place. This isn't a side project or a "maybe someday" situation.
We can consider practical deal structures — including seller equity participation where it's a good fit for both sides. If you're thinking about what comes next, we're worth a conversation.
Thinking about what comes next?
You don't need to have it all figured out. Reach out and we'll listen — no pressure, no obligation. Just two operators who want to understand what you've built.
